ENGLISH REVOLUTION (1640-1689).
- Was a great movement in Britain which aimed to overthrow the Absolute Monarchy or Dictatorship. This was the first political revolution in history of Europe which occurred twice that is puritan ( Blood shed revolution) and Glorious Revolution.
CAUSES OF ENGLISH REVOLUTION/ GLORIOUS/ PURITAN/BLOOD SHED.
- The theory of divine right of Monarchy.
- Means king ruled absolutely by will of God, which means to oppose the King was illegal. There fore, They decided to wage revolution in order to overthrow the Monarchy Government.
